Facebook!

Yes, I am crazy!!  I have a hard enough time staying caught up on the blog that I figured why not fail at Facebook also.  I like them both for different reasons.  If I can figure out how to give you a link to my facebook I will try.

Catching Up from Summer!!

In July we went to Disneyland.  It was the first time for Jaxson and Chloe.  We were planning to go in October so Samantha could go to her 20 year class reunion at the same time, but Tim was laid off and we figured we better go now while he has the time off.  We had a wonderful time!

I know, I know!!

It is now December and I have been avoiding blogging because I can't find a template that I like.  I have found some websites but they don't work on the MAC.  I also have been getting invites galore on facebook and so I am trying to figure that out too.

We were in Denver for Thanksgiving weekend seeing Chris, Emily and the kids.  We took family pictures so here is one of our favorites.

WOW!! It's been a busy summer!!

I have been so busy that I will have to tell you all about it later.  I just wanted you to know that I haven't forgotten about my blog and I will write more soon.

Jaxson got his Webelos and Arrow of Light!!

Congratulations Jaxson!! He got his webelos badge and his arrow of light. He is now an 11 year old scout. Before we know it he will be passing the sacrament. He had his school program at the same time as Pack Meeting so we had to come 30 minutes early to Pack Meeting to get his awards and then scoot on over to the school for his program. No 11 year old scouts there to welcome him but that was okay. The point is, he got it!!

Mother's Day!!

I know, today is not Mother's Day. It was a few weeks ago, but I haven't had time to blog so here we are back to Mother's Day. I wanted a basketball hoop and 4 basketballs. I did not want any fighting for basketballs which is why I asked for 4. Those of you who know me are probably asking yourself "Samantha, wanted a basketball hoop for Mother's Day" Yes, it is true. The kids love to play basketball and shoot hoops and so it was truly selfish on my part. I wanted PEACE!! I figured that the kids would go outside and shoot hoops and play and I wouldn't have to hear the fights. Gotta love it!!

Our House - Living Room/Entry

Notice that the Living Room is split by a beam in the center and we have our couches between the beam giving us a kind of 2 room space.  On either side of the beam we have hung an Iron Medallion.  This seems to be a hit to our friends here in Idaho.  They love it and so do we!!

The Doghouse!

Tim and Jaxson built a doghouse for Favre this last weekend.  It matches the house which was one of my criteria.  They put it next to the house where they will be installing a dog run for him in the next couple of weeks.  I thought they did a great job.  They will be filling the underneath with rocks.  I think it looks great!!

Birthday Cake!!

Jaxson had a Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Frosting and of course 11 candles!!  Jaxson and Chloe for his birthday.  They actually got along today!!

Gifts from Jaxson's birth family

Jaxson has such a wonderful birth family.  His birthmom Spring gave him this really cool magnetic dart board and his birth grandparents gave him this cool t-shirt.  They are always so generous to Jaxson for his birthdays and Christmas.  Thank You to our wonderful birth family!!

Happy 11th Birthday Jaxson!!

Today was Jaxson's 11th Birthday!!  We can't believe how fast time goes.  He got his puppy Favre for his birthday early.  Chloe colored him a picture.  Tim and I gave him a sports illustrated magazine (Tim got on E-bay) of Brett Favre's farewell and also a Brett Favre Jersey (also E-bay).  He was so surprised!!  The pictures tell it all.

Jaxson got a puppy!!

Jaxson finally got a puppy.  He is a beautiful black lab.  His name is Favre (Farve).  Yes, like the football player.  Brett Favre is Jaxson's favorite football player and the Green Bay Packers are his favorite team.  Tim is hoping now that Brett has retired he can convert Jaxson to be a Dallas Cowboys Fan.  We will see.  Isn't he so cute??

Chloe and her Birthmom!

Chloe's birthmom Melissa and her mother Chris came for Chloe's baptism.  It was the first time that Melissa's mother was able to see Chloe since she was 6 weeks old.  Chloe and Melissa had fun playing Guitar Hero after dinner.  The next day they went back to Utah.

There were 13 - 8 year olds getting baptized from our Stake on that Saturday.  5 were from our Ward.  Here is Chloe with her friends that she was baptized with.  Kaitlyn, Talon, Chloe, Max and Mallary.

Chloe's Baptism

Chloe was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by her Dad on March 29, 2008.  Chloe got her own set of scriptures and a really cute scripture bag as well as many other gifts.

Tubing on the Lake with our cousins!!

We went boating and tubing on the lake with my sister Emily, her husband Chris and their kids, Jake, McKenna and Isaiah.  We had so much fun!!  I even got in a tube.
